🚑 M10 Capstone: Rescue Rover

An earthquake has hit Automation Studio. Rescue teams need a rover that can cross rubble and carry supplies. This is your final mission.

1. Tracks: the RC tank: Tanks and diggers use tracks. What are they better at than wheels?
2. Suspension: the bouncy truck: Springs keep wheels on the ground. Why does that matter for grip?

4. The worm-drive crawler: Slow but unstoppable. Can it climb what the others can’t?
5. Design Day: Rescue rover: Automation Studio is counting on you. Time to use everything you have learned.
6. Showcase: Rescue Day & Engineer Pitch: Run the course, then pitch your rover to the “city council” in 2 minutes.

Design challenge

Design, build and test a rover that carries a 100 g “supply pack” across a rubble course and back.
