How MightyCog handles locally saved progress, booklet purchases, support email and Amazon affiliate links. No account is needed to use the building guides.

No account is required for building guides. Progress stays in your browser. We do not run advertising scripts. PostHog analytics measures website usage automatically unless turned off using the controls on this page in the app. It measures pages, public campaigns, temporary page-memory identifiers, country, building activity, active page time, PDF outcomes and link clicks. No screen recordings, person profiles, typed searches, emails, card details or private download tokens are sent. Analytics identifiers are not saved in cookies or browser storage and reset on a reload or a new tab. Previous opt-outs remain respected. Our hosting services process normal website requests.

Links shared in our YouTube comments contain a video reference. We count tagged page arrivals in server logs by campaign, video and day, without cookies or visitor identifiers. Campaign records do not contain IP addresses, browser details or referring URLs. Repeat visits can be counted more than once.

Videos

Embedded creator videos connect to YouTube only after you choose to load them; YouTube’s privacy policy applies to playback. Credited links also let you watch directly on YouTube.

Purchases

Stripe handles checkout. We receive the purchase reference and buyer’s email for download access, fulfilment records and support. Transactional download emails are sent through Cloudflare; purchase emails are not used for newsletters.

Amazon affiliate links

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Kit links contain our public referral ID. Amazon’s privacy and cookie policies apply after you follow a link. We do not assign individual tracking IDs to visitors or load Amazon advertising scripts.
