Same pull, heavier cart. Slower? How much slower? Let’s measure, not guess.
Fair test
Pull with a constant 1 N (spring scale). Time 1 m with 0, 50, 100, 150 g of ballast.
Bonus challenge
Film it in slow motion and count frames to get a sharper time.
The build
Ballast Cart: A low cart with a tray for coins or washers and a hook for a spring scale or a falling weight. Change the mass, keep the pull: watch the speed change.
