A wobbly giraffe needs a tall, safe tower to eat leaves from. Prototype Workshop needs builders who know what makes things strong.

Lessons

1. The shape squisher: Squares and triangles: which shape is the strongest? Let’s squish them!
2. See-saw balance: An elephant and a mouse on a see-saw. Who goes up? Could the mouse ever win?
3. Wobble test: Why does the push bar have a triangle? Let’s take it away and see!
4. Up goes the barrier: The car park gate is too heavy to lift! How do real gates go up so easily?
5. Design Day: Giraffe tower: The giraffe is hungry and the leaves are high up. Build her a tower!
6. Showcase: Tower Top Trumps: Measure every tower with a ruler, then add the juice box. Count to 10 together!

Build the tallest tower that holds a juice box on top for 10 seconds.
